This training blade has the feel of the real thing and is well made. Four stars because the clip is for left-handed (only 20%). It's mounted with small star screws (not phillips), so I had to buy a tool to change the clip sides.

The trainer works great, it has the appropriate weight to it and has an Emerson loop so you can open it from a pocket draw. It really is a standard Karambit that is not sharp, so you can feel the same when using a standard, sharpened one. for those wondering, it is the size of a Fox 479. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Retention ring is the perfect size for spinning the knife. The handle feels good, no problems there. The dull blade does have somewhat sharp corners and I recommend smoothing them out before training with partners. Overall, happy purchase.

I wanted a trainer before purchasing a "real" one with a cutting edge. I bought 2 of these and they're great. Fun to twirl and flip around. Highly recommend.
